AFL Dream Team duo miss training

Sydney defender Tadhg Kennelly and Fremantle's Luke McPharlin failed to train with the Dream Team squad ahead of Saturday's AFL Hall of Fame match against Victoria.

The other 28 members of the squad took part in a session at the MCG after coming together for the first time earlier Wednesday.

Brownlow Medal favourite Adam Cooney is unsure whether he will play because of an ankle problem, but he seemed to run freely at the training session.

Cooney will train and then discuss the situation with medical staff.

Likewise, young Hawthorn star Lance Franklin is a key member of the squad despite speculation that he has a shoulder injury.
