The State Government presented a paper on the impacts of climate change on small businesses to a Small Business Ministerial Council meeting in Christchurch, New Zealand, yesterday. Economic Development and Tourism Minister Paula Wriedt said the paper recognised climate change was a significant issue for the State's 35,000 small businesses. The meeting agreed to establish a working group of all States and Territories to progress work on the issue.
